Two people meet in an uncharted plain for the first time. They do not expect to see another living being in this space, because to access it they have journied far and undergone many tests of spiritual indurance. They greet without words and soak in eachothers presence. There is only an allusion of a floor as the space drifts onto a horizon, light emanates from above and darkness below. The distance between the two people streches out in waves that slowly vibrate. One signals the other to follow and he does. We watch as they glide away in unison then we look back in the other direction, a calming storm is approaching from very far away. We decide to follow the two people in secret. They have picked up speed and for a while we are left behind, but we accelarate to catch up. As we reach them we hear sounds of laughter. The laughter belongs to the people but we hear it all over, in distorted warped fragments and as a whole, continuous sound that wraps us gently and guides our travels. How do you feel as you move in this way? It is not flight, nor walking or running. No wind races across your face as your own inquisitivity guides you through an enviorenment where experience is of no use, for every element perceived by your senses is entirely new or seen from a new perspective. For a while you have not been paying attention to the people we were following but now you realise we are all moving in unison, a sycronised harmony. Their faces turn to us and smile, it feels reassuring to be acknowledged and accepted.
